We only use Cold Pressed oils in all our formulations to ensure you get the maximum skin benefits. Cold pressing ensures that all of the antioxidants & nutrients are preserved, so your skin gets all the healing botanical goodness from every last drop of oil. Using Heat & chemicals to expel oil can degrade the nutrients & also add unwanted toxins to the mix & who wants that? Not us!!.

While un-adulterated natural oils don't smell as nice and are much richer in colour. They are also packed with potent skin-loving nutrients that you simply can't get from refined oils. Refining oils is a three step process, firstly treating them with a chemical solution, then bleaching them, then finally deoderizing them. So when the oils are finally refined you have a light, clear, scent-free oil. That while being pretty and unoffensive in anyway (scent or colour) is actually nutritionally dead, why on earth would you put that on your skin??. Our oils all still have their natural scents & rich colours but they also still have all their botanical nutrients intact & that is where the real skin magic comes from.

Yes it is, it’s often recommended that you should avoid Carrot Essential Oil during pregnancy. So we use Organic, Cold Pressed Carrot Seed Oil so you get all the skin-loving goodness but without the added potency that could pose a risk for some women.
