As much as we'd all love for our beauty regimens to stay the same forever, it just isn't possible thanks to a little something called aging. From fine wrinkles creeping in on the corners of the mouth to once plump lips now resembling prunes, at some point or another we all have to come to terms with dealing with the onset of maturing skin.
But don’t fret! I’ve put together some of the best makeup tips and tricks for mature skin, that will have you looking and feeling your very best. Because employing the right kind of makeup techniques will take years off your actual age. After all, clean makeup is the best and, not to mention, the fastest non-invasive anti-ager out there. ;)
Create a Light and Glowing Base
While you may be tempted to pile on thick makeup, do yourself a favour and keep it simple. Mature skin tends to crack with any foundation due to lack of skin resilience. That’s why it’s best to use mineral reflecting powders to even out your base and reduce the sign of blemishes.
Opt for a formula with light to medium coverage to achieve a more natural finish! ;) Go for our Titanium Dioxide Free Mineral Silk Foundation, which is all natural & light-as-air, it glides on effortlessly & blends in with your complexion, to minimise redness, even out discolouration & leave you glowing.
Apply it over your favourite facial oil & your skin will look dewey & glowing, we promise.
(And plus points for the Sun protection!) Our vegan foundation contains zinc oxide to soothe your skin whilst providing complete protection from ageing UVA & UVB Sun Rays. Special reflective silk mica diffuses light & helps to minimise imperfections while giving your skin a subtle healthy glow.

Keep the Brows Natural Looking
Your eyebrows should be shaped in a way that it frames and defines your face. Shaping your brows with a soft brow powder does the trick. Make sure to draw them not too thin or too thick. You can use our Mineral Vegan Brow Styler for filling in the gaps in your brows.
Our matte highly pigmented formula will enhance your brows & allow you to create flawless natural looking brows, with very little fuss. And the additional angled eyebrow brush makes applying your vegan powder super easy, while the barrel brush end ensures you immaculate brows.

Matte Eyeshadow is All You Need
Choose matte eye shadows, which will add colour and shading without drawing attention to the creases on your lids, unlike frosted or shimmery shadows. Try to limit the eyeshadow application to a maximum of two matte shades. Earth tones are the best, just like our Titanium Free - Matte Eyeshadows in Nude, Spiced, Taupe, or Suede.
Lift Subtly when Applying your Blush
Teenagers & young adults can get away with applying blush on the apples of the cheeks but as we age, the rule is a bit different. The best way to apply blush is to use a large fluffy brush and sweep the color over the highest point of the cheekbones to create an illusion of a "lifted face”. Just apply the blush at the top of the cheekbone and then blend inward
Our Titanium Dioxide Free Vegan Blushes in Blushing Rose or Blushing Peach are your best bet! ;) Our blush is free from titanium dioxide, harsh chemicals, parabens, Bismuth Oxychloride, talc, synthetic dyes, fillers, fragrance & preservatives. 100% safe and suitable even with most sensitive skin.
Go for Natural and Organic Gloss & Lipsticks
For lips that have lost their plump texture, try using a light gloss (like our Organic Lip Glaze in Crystal Clear) to make the appearance of thinning lips less noticeable. Dab a touch in the middle of your lips over your lipstick to make your lips appear fuller and poutier, and create a subtle shine.
When choosing your lipstick, natural and organic ones are your best bet as they are nourishing for your lips. Our Titanium Free Lipstick are a great choice with their nutrient rich organic cocoa butter base ensuring your lips ultra hydration, moisturisation & protection. While the added organic castor & jojoba oils give the lipstick its beautiful feel & rich satin finish.
Avoid darker colours on thin or more mature lips as they can make the mouth look severe and harsh. Thinner or smaller lips look best with brighter, more vivid colours. They may take a bit of getting used to, but brighter colours make a small mouth or more mature lips more noticeable.
Extra Tip: Prevent lipstick from bleeding on more mature lips by applying a little foundation around the outside of your lips and set with powder. Then apply your favourite colour.
