I went with Medium Glow after preciously using 2n1 Estee Lauder and I am so happy I made the switch. It is so reassuring to know I'm no longer putting toxins on my face every day.
After using the samples before ordering full size products my biggest tip is BUY THE BRUSH! MG Naturals brush makes a world of difference in the foundation application and gives you much better coverage! Looking forward to replacing the rest of my makeup with this organic range!
Really disappointed with the foundation, the coverage is patchy and like it doesn't want to be on my skin, almost flaky. Any hints and tips before I write it off completely and go back to the foundation I've been using for years???
I found this company through an internet search after learning from a popular health blog that titanium dioxide is damaging to DNA. When I received the foundation and samples I tried the 2 sample colors right away and was really pleased with the quality. This foundation is very soft and silky. It stays on all day and has a beautiful glow effect. It’s the best foundation I’ve ever used. At the time I tried the foundation, I was using a retinol adapalene chemical product daily on my skin for acne, which caused the foundation, as well as all zinc-containing face products in the past, to irritate my skin. So I searched the internet for another brand but couldn’t find anything that was truly titanium dioxide free (they would often claim to be then the ingredient list showed otherwise—buyer beware, read carefully!) and also zinc free. So I made a big decision to try to heal my skin with essential oils rather than use the irritating and unhealthy adapalene. I spent a few weeks doing that (it worked better on acne and wrinkles than adapalene) and then tried the foundation again. No irritation! Now I’m waiting for more foundation color samples to arrive because I haven’t found the right color yet. I also ordered blush samples and BB cream samples. I wanted lipstick samples but they were sold out. I unfortunately can’t return the original full-size foundation for the correct full-size color without incurring USA —> Australia return shipping fees (the company doesn’t cover exchange/return shipping) that are the same cost as the product. So I’m keeping it to mix or use lightly in emergencies, and the company has offered to send me a discount code when I’m ready to place my next order. Where relevant, be sure to order samples from the site’s sample page before purchasing a full size product.
