Did you know your eyeshadow is the most versatile makeup product in your stash? If you’re running low on makeup, don’t worry because your eyeshadow has more uses than just adding colour to your lids. ;) Here are five hacks you can do with your eyeshadow.
-
Use it as a Highlighter
Yep, you read that right. You can actually use your eyeshadow as a highlighter. Just choose a shimmery or pearly eyeshadow and apply it using a precise brush. Gently dust the eyeshadow to your cheekbones, cupid’s bow, under your brows, the bridge of the nose, and the inner corners of your eyes.
-
Shape your Brows
Ditch that eyebrow pencil, and use your eyeshadow instead. For a more natural look, search your eyeshadow stash for a shade that is one shade darker than your natural eyebrow color. You can use the short end of our Double-ended Eyeshadow Brush to fill in any sparse patches on your eyebrows. To soften the appearance of your arches, blend out with the fluffy end of the brush.
-
Create a Contour
Just grab a brown eyeshadow, a few shades darker than your skin tone for an instant contour powder. Using our brown shades (Russet, Glistening Bronze, Warm Chocolate, or Espresso) with an angled brush, dab a sheer layer of the eyeshadow under your cheekbones, the sides of the nose, along the hairline and jawline. Make sure to blend the contour well by using a blending brush to avoid any harsh lines.
-
Use as an Eyeliner
Can’t find an eyeliner that doesn’t irritate your eyes? Use our Titanium Dioxide Free Eyeshadow instead! ;) Lightly wet a fine-pointed brush and dip it into the eyeshadow, and apply it to the lash line, as close as possible. You can get creative and play with different colours and make your line as thin or thick as you wish!
