When you unscrew the lid of your Organic Liquid Foundation or BB Cream, don’t be alarmed by the absence of a long straw.
We often receive emails and messages from our lovely customers asking why their MG Naturals goodies don’t have a plastic straw inside.
We use “airless pump technology” that utilises a product elevator in the bottom of the bottle to gently push the product up with each pump. Our airless pumps ensure no mess & no waste. But the best thing by far is that your Organic Foundation & BB Cream remains uncontaminated by bacteria & germs - ensuring a pure product to the last drop.
Read on to learn more about the amazing benefits of using Airless Pump Bottles! ;)
What are Airless Pump Bottles?
Airless pump bottles use a non-pressurised vacuum for dispensing liquids by utilizing a mechanical pump. As you push down on the pump, the disc in the bottle rises to push the product out of the pump.
To put it simply, the airless pump bottles allow you to dispense the contents without taking off the lid when the contents are low.

What to do if Pump Stops Working?
Occasionally, especially with viscous creams like our Liquid Foundation & BB Cream, there will be a need to re-prime the internal pump mechanism. This is very common with airless dispensers and should not be considered faulty. The small disk inside the bottle that moves to the top as you pump, can become stuck and will need to be loosened so it can move freely again. To do this, follow these steps:
Step 1. Ensure that the pump is tightly screwed onto the bottle.
Step 2.Firmly tap the base of the bottle on a firm surface 3-4 times.
Step 3. Pump the dispenser slowly about 15-20 times upside down.
Step 4. Repeat steps 1-3 at anytime if required.
Pro Tip:
These airless dispensers do not have a tube or straw inside.
We do not recommend removing the pump from the bottle if it stops pumping as this will let air into the bottle and will affect the potency of the product over time.
